Placements24 is seeking a Senior HR Specialist focused on Compensation and Benefits for a fully remote role servicing markets including South Africa. You will design, implement, and manage total rewards aligned with market trends and business objectives.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in HR with strong compensation experience, knowledge of SA and international regulations, and proficiency in HRIS. This role offers flexible remote work and opportunity to influence global compensation strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CCP, CBP) is a strong asset.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience focused on compensation and benefits design and administration.
• Experience in executive compensation, incentive plans, and broad-based structures.
• Knowledge of market trends, legal requirements for compensation/benefits in SA and potentially international markets.
• Proficiency with HRIS and compensation management software.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and administer compensation and benefits programs (base salary, incentives, health insurance, retirement plans, etc.).
• Conduct market research and salary surveys to ensure competitive positioning.
• Analyze compensation data and recommend adjustments and strategy improvements.
• Manage annual salary review process including merit increases and incentives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Administer employee benefits programs and liaise with vendors.
