Job summary

YA Group is seeking a Senior Managing Accident Reconstructionist to lead a team of experts in vehicular accident reconstruction. The role requires extensive experience in forensic engineering, site investigations, and 3D modeling for trial exhibits.

A strong network of clients is preferred, and the position is fully remote across the United States. You will travel to accident sites, perform analyses with specialized software, mentor staff, and provide expert testimony when needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 10+ years of experience in biomechanics, accident reconstruction, premises liability, or related work.
• PE license, ACTAR certification, and/or SAE certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of experts in accident investigations, traveling to scenes and documenting data.
• Analyze crashes with crash simulation software and provide litigation support to clients.
• Manage large projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Develop business by maintaining client rapport and generating new work.
• Coordinate with business development at conferences and events.
• Provide expert testimony in depositions or trials when required.
• Oversee data collection using laser scanners, photography, drones, and data downloads.
