Job summary

YA Group is seeking a Senior Accident Reconstructionist to join its Accident Reconstruction & Biomechanics team. The role is fully remote within the United States, with travel to accident sites as needed.

The candidate will lead investigations, produce written conclusions, and support litigation with expert testimony and client communication. The ideal candidate has a Mechanical Engineering degree, 4+ years in forensic reconstruction, and relevant licenses or certifications.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of forensic accident reconstruction experience.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Valid PE license and/or ACTAR/SAE certifications are required.
• Experience calculating impact speeds, forces, and trajectories.
• Experience supporting insurance, legal, and claims clients.

Responsibilities

• Travel to accident scenes to document and analyze.
• Perform analyses using crash simulation software and document findings.
• Provide litigation support and expert testimony when required.
• Develop 3D models and graphics for trial exhibits with forensic animators.
• Communicate scope, budgets, tasks, and timelines with clients.
