The role involves traveling to sites, collaborating with attorneys and insurers, and delivering clear technical conclusions. A PE, ACTAR/SAE cert, and CAD/3D visualization skills are essential in this senior, remote-capable position.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in forensic accident reconstruction
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Valid PE license, ACTAR certification, and/or SAE certification
Experience with crash simulations and CAD tools
Willingness to travel and relocate as required

Responsibilities

Travel to accident scenes to document and analyze incidents using established procedures.
Download vehicle data recorders, perform crash analyses, and prepare litigation support reports.
Initiate client contact and build rapport with insurers, lawyers, and adjusters.
Provide expert testimony in depositions or trials when requested.
Create 3D models and drawings with forensic animators for trial exhibits.
Research papers and industry journals to advance reconstruction techniques.
