Job summary

Ericsson Mobile Financial Services seeks a Senior Presales Solution Architect to join our US team. You will be the technical cornerstone for strategic engagements, translating fintech depth into winning solutions across mobile money, wallets, and payments.

You will collaborate with customers to design architectures, create compelling proposals, and guide integrations while staying ahead of market trends and regulatory shifts. This is a remote US role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution architecture or other deeply technical roles within fintech or financial services technology in the US.
• Proven track record of leading architecture-driven engagements in fintech or payments.
• Hands-on understanding of fintech platforms including mobile money, digital payments, wallet infrastructure, API design and management, microservices and cloud-based architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical presales process—from discovery to executive presentations.
• Act as the lead technical authority in customer engagements for Ericsson's fintech capabilities.
• Architect tailored, scalable solutions spanning mobile money, wallets, payments, APIs, and inclusion use cases.
• Design integration and systems architectures addressing security, compliance, scalability and interoperability in US financial services.
• Build compelling solution narratives linking technical capability to business value for engineering and executives.
• Produce high-quality proposals, blueprints and RFP/RFI responses that differentiate us.
• Drive handovers to delivery with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable solutions.
• Stay ahead of the market by tracking US fintech trends and regulatory shifts and feeding insights back to strategy.
• Build reusable technical assets and reference architectures to raise team capability.
• Mentor colleagues and uplift solution architecture depth across presales and partner engagements.
