Job summary

Ericsson Mobile Financial Services is seeking a Senior Presales Solution Architect to join our growing US team. You will lead the technical presales process, design scalable fintech solutions, and serve as the trusted technical authority across engagements, with travel as required.

You will partner with customers to architect and present solutions spanning mobile money, digital wallets, and payment ecosystems, translating deep technical capability into measurable business value for executives

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution architecture, software engineering, or other deeply technical roles within fintech or financial services technology organizations in the US.
• Proven track record of leading complex architecture-driven engagements in fintech or payments.
• Strong hands-on understanding of fintech platforms, including mobile money, digital payments, wallet infrastructure, API design and management, microservices, and cloud-based financial services architectures.
• Fluency in the technical fundamentals that matter in payments — transaction processing, security and encryption, data integration, scalability and resilience.
• Ability to translate deep technical detail into business value for executives.
• Excellent solution design, technical writing, presentation, and RFP response skills.
• Collaborative, customer-first mindset with credibility in both technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to operate independently in a US-based role while staying connected to a global team.
• Established network of potential customers and partners in the US fintech market is a strong advantage.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical presales process from discovery to solution design, architecture, live demos, and executive presentations.
• Act as the lead technical authority in customer engagements, positioning Ericsson Mobile Financial Services as the right architectural fit for fintech environments.
• Architect tailored, scalable solutions spanning mobile money, digital wallets, payment processing, API ecosystems, and inclusion use cases.
• Design integration and systems architectures addressing security, compliance, scalability, and interoperability in US financial services.
• Build compelling solution narratives connecting technical capability to business value for engineering teams and executives.
• Produce high-quality technical proposals, blueprints, and RFP/RFI responses that differentiate us on merit and value.
• Drive clean handovers to delivery, coordinating with sales, product, and implementation teams.
• Stay ahead of US fintech trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive landscape; feed insights into strategy.
• Create reusable assets like reference architectures, demo environments, and integration patterns.
• Mentor colleagues to grow solution architecture depth across presales and partner engagements.
