Job summary

Thomson Power Systems, a Regal Rexnord company, is expanding its service team with a Senior Field Service Technician. The role is field-based, hands-on, and will start with a project in Richmond, VA, with nationwide travel after completion.

You will lead start-up, testing, and commissioning of low- and medium-voltage equipment, and work closely with customers to ensure reliable, safe operation. Reporting to the Field Service Manager, you will diagnose and resolve issues, support the Technical

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining power distribution and control equipment.
• Ability to read detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead start-up, testing, and commissioning of low- and medium-voltage switchgear and ATS.
• Perform field service tasks: site assessments, installation, start-up, testing, commissioning, maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair paralleling switchgear and control systems at customer sites.
• Ensure safety, quality, and performance standards are met during field work.
• Prepare and submit field service reports and expense reports.
