Job summary

Thomson Power Systems, a Regal Rexnord company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead electrical power distribution projects in North America. The role partners with operations and field service, reporting to the Manager of Project Management, and requires strong cross-functional collaboration across sales, engineering, production, supply chain, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in electrical power distribution, engineering, project management, manufacturing, contracting, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience with ownership of scope, cost, schedules, vendors, subcontractors, and customer commitments.
• Minimum of 3–5 years in electrical power distribution with hands-on exposure to low/medium voltage equipment and related products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience required.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Experience with complex, long-cycle projects in data center, construction, or engineer-to-order environments.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with customers, vendors, subcontractors, engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams.
• Knowledge of ERP/PM systems including SAP, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
• Ensure project execution aligns with contractual requirements and internal guidelines.
• Oversee project financials including invoicing, cost tracking, expenses, and cash flow.
• Drive formal project acceptance, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, production, supply chain, warehouse and trade compliance.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to project management best practices.
