Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform hands-on service on installed critical power systems in customer sites. You will start-up, test, and commission low- and medium-voltage switchgear and ATS, diagnose issues, and ensure systems are safe and fully operational before handoff.

The role requires strong hands-on electrical knowledge, ability to read schematics, and a commitment to safety standards. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience performing preventive and predictive maintenance on power distribution and control equipment.
• Experience installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, and related electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of CSA, NFPA, UL requirements and related electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage predictive and preventive maintenance programs for installed-base customers.
• Perform field service work: site assessments, installation, start-up, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of power distribution, control, and automation systems.
• Lead commissioning, upgrade, and modernization activities to ensure configuration, validation, and handoff to customers.
