Job summary

Leica Biosystems supports a network of diagnostics across the U.S. and seeks a Field Service Engineer II to install, maintain, and repair Leica solutions. The role focuses on resolving complex customer challenges and maximizing instrument uptime.

Travel up to 90% domestically, with some international opportunities. A valid driver’s license is required and the team offers a remote-work option for eligible roles.

Qualifications

• Associate degree plus 3+ years field service experience or Bachelor’s in Science plus 1+ year, or equivalent military experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, or instrumentation systems.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites and manage competing priorities while maintaining uptime.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Leica diagnostic solutions at customer sites.
• Manage service execution in the territory, prioritizing customer needs and ensuring instrument performance.
• Support escalations and share expertise with peers and leadership to improve outcomes.
