Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to lead on-site configuration, testing, and post-cut support for ECH solutions. This remote role requires extensive travel across the US and internationally, with responsibilities spanning cloud integrations and hybrid deployments.

You will work with customers and channel partners to ensure successful deployment, document changes, and maintain expert knowledge of evolving cloud-native public safety technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an Engineering or Technical environment.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS or Azure are a plus.
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+.
• Experience with cloud-based application troubleshooting, including connectivity and identity management.
• Experience with virtualization and database servers.
• US passport for international travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Configures and tests ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS-based applications.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cut.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local site infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provides support to customers and partners during deployment.
• Documents changes to the solution, including cloud tenant configurations and API integrations.
