Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced ECH Field Engineer to lead configuration and validation of Emergency Call Handling deployments. The role combines on-site and cloud-based work, with significant travel and remote collaboration across the US and internationally.

You will configure systems, verify readiness, support customers, and document changes while advancing cloud migration methods. A technical background in networking, virtualization, and security is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering/IT degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years in engineering/technical environments.
• Experience deploying/integrating complex IP products/systems.
• Cloud-related troubleshooting and identity management experience.
• Public safety deployments experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configure and test ECH solutions on hybrid cloud and SaaS apps.
• Perform site verification testing before go-live.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Support customers and partners during deployment.
• Document changes to cloud tenants and integrations.
• Contribute to procedures for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Engage in pre-contract discussions and customer negotiations.
