Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Federal Software Program Manager to direct large-scale software deployments for federal government and public safety clients. In this fully remote role, you will own program governance, P&L, cross-functional leadership, federal compliance, and client satisfaction, shaping proposals and delivering mission-critical solutions.

This role requires a bachelor's degree and 8+ years of software PM experience; knowledge of federal contracting is crucial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Business Administration.
• 8+ years of software project or program management experience delivering complex, large-scale software solutions.
• PMP in process or completed preferred; advanced program management or Agile certifications are a plus.
• Federal contracting knowledge or willingness to learn.
• Experience contributing to proposals, effort estimation, and win strategies for large federal procurements.
• Proficiency in enterprise PM platforms (Jira Align, Microsoft Project, Confluence, Asana).

Responsibilities

• Develops and governs master project plans using automated PM tools and processes.
• Leads multidisciplinary project teams and coordinates internal workflows.
• Manages customer, subcontractor, and channel relationships with regular status updates.
• Accounts for financial success, budgets, revenue, margin, and cash.
• Assesses and mitigates project risks and escalates issues as needed.
