Placements24 is seeking a Senior Event Planner to join a fully remote team in delivering flawless events from conception to completion. You will liaise with clients, manage budgets, negotiate with vendors, and coordinate logistics for nationwide and Welkom-area events with potential travel.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in event planning, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with event management software and collaboration tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in event planning or management.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand event needs, vision, and budget.
• Develop creative event concepts and proposals.
• Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue, catering, entertainment, and AV.
• Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
• Create detailed event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, travel if required.
• Provide exceptional client service throughout the planning process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during planning or execution.
• Post-event evaluation and reporting.
