Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or in a similar role within hospitality or events.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in event planning software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements, vision, and budget.
• Develop creative event concepts and proposals tailored to client needs.
• Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue setup, catering, entertainment, and staffing.
• Source and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
• Create detailed event timelines and run sheets to ensure smooth execution on the day.
• Manage event budgets and expenses, and ensure profitability.
• Oversee on-site event management and troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and gather client feedback for continuous improvement.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to promote event services.
