Job summary

ICF's Environment & Planning Division is seeking a Senior Environmental Planner to support NEPA compliance across energy, disaster management, and transportation projects. The role may be remote with a preference for Florida or the Eastern United States, with some office option in Reston, VA.

You will lead NEPA reviews, coordinate with applicants and agencies, develop analyses for EAs and EISs, manage scopes, schedules, and budgets, and contribute to project management teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in natural or physical science, urban planning, or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience in NEPA or environmental planning.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead reviewer for NEPA projects.
• Interact with applicants and agency staff.
• Help manage preparation of EAs and EISs.
• Review NEPA documents prepared by contractors.
• Coordinate environmental components of applications.
• Participate in the Project Management team.
• Act as PM on EAs or DPM on EISs.
• Develop written materials and analyses for EAs or EISs.
• Coordinate with technical staff on project teams.
• Organize and facilitate meetings and prepare summaries.
• Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and agency staff.
