ICF seeks a Senior Environmental Planner to support NEPA compliance through the preparation or review of EISs and EAs for projects nationwide. The role offers remote work with preference for Florida or the Eastern United States and occasional on-site collaboration, with the Reston, VA office as an option.

Responsibilities include leading NEPA reviews, coordinating with clients and agency staff, and guiding project teams on EAs and EISs, as well as developing analyses and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in natural or physical science, urban planning, public policy, economics, environmental management or related subjects
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience

Responsabilités

• Serving as a lead reviewer for NEPA projects
• Interacting with applicants and agency staff
• Helping agency staff manage the preparation of EAs and EISs (which are usually prepared by the applicant’s contractor)
• Reviewing NEPA documents prepared by the applicant’s contractor
• Reviewing environmental components of applications
• Participating in the Project Management team
• Acting as PM on EAs or DPM on EISs
• Developing written materials and analyses for EAs or EISs or categorical exclusions
• Serving as a liaison to direct technical staff on project teams
• Coordinating project deliverables with document production staff
• Developing and monitoring project scopes, schedules, and budgets
• Organizing and facilitating meetings (such as preparing agendas, developing and presenting meeting content, and preparing summaries)
• Communicating with clients, stakeholders, and agency staff
