Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC is seeking an experienced E&S Construction Underwriter to develop and manage a profitable middle-market construction book of business. The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of E&S construction underwriting experience, with demonstrated success underwriting larger, more complex contractor accounts and managing a meaningful book of business.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years underwriting E&S (Excess & Surplus/non-admitted) construction business.
• Experience underwriting middle-market construction accounts.
• Must have E&S construction underwriting experience.
• Should understand and manage larger, more complex accounts.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite E&S construction risks for middle-market accounts.
• Develop and manage a profitable middle-market construction book of business.
• Evaluate new and renewal policy applications and pricing.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and files per guidelines.
• Adhere to underwriting authority directives and policies.
