Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC International seeks an experienced E&S Construction Underwriter to develop and manage a profitable middle-market book of business. You will bring at least 5 years of E&S construction underwriting experience, handling larger, more complex contractor accounts with minimal supervision.

You will underwrite, classify risks, set pricing, and determine endorsements while maintaining clear documentation and adhering to guidelines. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of E&S construction underwriting experience.
• Experience underwriting middle-market construction accounts.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• E&S construction underwriting experience with larger, complex accounts.
• Knowledge of risk classification, pricing, and endorsements.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Pursuing CPCU / RPLU / AU / CIC or related designation.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite E&S middle-market construction accounts.
