CrowdStrike in the United States (Remote) is seeking a Distinguished Engineer for the Lab who has built AI and security systems to stop real adversaries. You will architect systems from sensor to cloud and translate research into production for the Falcon platform.

You’ll lead across research and engineering, mentor senior staff, and publish open‑source work while delivering scalable AI-driven defenses that operate at cloud scale.

Qualifikationen

• PhD preferred; 15+ years in software/ML/security engineering.
• 8+ years at a senior technical leadership level (Principal/ Distinguished).
• Proven track record shipping production AI/ML security systems.
• Expert in LLMs and agentic architectures.
• Deep security expertise in detection, response, threat hunting, or security automation.
• Proficiency in one or more of C, C++, Rust, Go, or Python.
• Experience with distributed systems and GPU inference stacks.
• Ability to mentor principal-level engineers and researchers.
• Strong cross-team collaboration and communication.

Aufgaben

• Architect the Lab’s AI security systems end to end.
• Bring frontier AI to the endpoint using distillation and compact models.
• Build cloud-scale streaming detection across trillions of events.
• Create autonomous defenders that investigate, hunt, and remediate.
• Learn from investigations, simulations, reinforcement learning, and synthetic data.
• Engineer for adversarial conditions and safe customer deployment.
• Establish benchmarks and evaluation harnesses for efficacy and latency.
• Lead through technical depth and mentor senior engineers/researchers.
• Translate research into production within the Falcon platform.
• Represent CrowdStrike via publications and collaborations with external labs.
