Job summary

Colliers Global Occupier Services seeks an experienced Senior Cost Estimator to support a large multinational client. You will develop budgets, provide lifecycle cost estimates, and guide PMs with cost control and value engineering across industrial and office projects.

The role requires extensive international experience, BIM/CostX familiarity, and strong MS Office skills to manage procurement and contracts. Remote/various locations, with bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Cost Estimating and Management (pre-contract and post-contract).
• Knowledge of cost benchmarks for industrial buildings (manufacturing, testing, R&D, warehouses, offices).
• Ability to review cost plans for quality and accuracy before approval.
• Understanding of contract types (Design-Bid-Build, Design & Build, cost-plus, BTS-Lease).
• International experience on industrial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost management processes.
• Define budgets for construction projects based on requirements, procurement strategy, and contract type.
• Identify cost risks and mitigation measures with project teams.
• Provide cost estimates from preliminary to detailed life cycle stages.
• Evaluate cost control measures and review forecasts to safeguard budget and cash flow.
• Support PMs with value engineering, price, and claim negotiations with the General Contractor.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager for project success and growth targets.
