Job summary

Colliers is seeking a Senior Cost Estimator to support a multinational client within our Enterprise Project Management service line. You will serve as a subject matter expert, guiding project teams on cost planning, budgeting, and cost control across global construction initiatives.

You will leverage BIM and CostX/RIB iTwo tools, drive value engineering, and ensure budgets align with market conditions. International exposure and strong MS Office skills are essential in this remote role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Cost Estimating and Management (pre- and post-contract) required.
• Special knowledge in cost benchmarks for industrial buildings (manufacturing, testing, R&D facilities, warehouses, offices).
• Ability to review cost plans for quality and accuracy before approval.
• Understanding of contract types (Pre-construction partnering, Design-Bid-Build to Design & Build, Open Book/cost plus fees, BTS-Lease).
• Must have international experience working on industrial construction projects.
• Proficiency with MS Office apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience of BIM design methods and cost databases.
• Structured, organized, self-starter.
• Special skills in tools such as RIB iTwo or CostX or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain processes for cost management procedures.
• Guide and support PMs in defining budgets for construction projects across the client account.
• Identify significant cost risks and develop mitigation measures with project teams.
• Provide cost estimates in stages from preliminary to detailed.
• Evaluate cost control effectiveness and review forecasts to safeguard budget.
• Leverage cost-effective construction methods to deliver on time and within budget.
• Support PM in Value Engineering, price, and claim negotiations with the GC.
• Collaborate with PM for overall project success and client growth targets.
