Job summary

Colliers Global Occupier Services seeks a Senior Cost Estimator to support a multinational client. You will deliver cost estimates across project life cycles, help define budgets, and work with PMs to keep projects on time and within budget.

Requirements: 10+ years in cost estimating, knowledge of industrial cost benchmarks, international project experience, and BIM/CostX plus MS Office. Remote work from various locations is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Cost Estimating and Management (pre-contract and post-contract).
• Experience with industrial buildings cost benchmarks and relevant cost factors.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain processes for cost management.
• Guide and support project managers in defining budgets for construction projects.
• Identify significant cost risks and mitigation measures.
• Provide cost estimates across project life cycles from preliminary to detailed levels.
• Evaluate cost control measures and review forecasts to safeguard budget.
• Leverage cost- and time-efficient construction methods to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Support PM in value engineering, price negotiations with contractors.
• Collaborate closely with the project manager for overall success.
