Job summary

Colliers International is seeking a Senior Cost Estimator to join our Global Occupier Services team. You will serve as a subject matter expert, developing cost estimates for industrial and office construction projects across client accounts worldwide.

You will lead cost management processes, define budgets based on project requirements and procurement strategy, and collaborate with project managers to keep initiatives on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in cost estimating and management.
• Experience with industrial construction projects worldwide.
• Ability to review and challenge cost plans for accuracy.
• Knowledge of contract types including Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and Open Book.
• Proficiency in MS Office and cost databases; BIM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost management processes.
• Define budgets for construction projects based on requirements, procurement strategy, and codes.
• Identify cost risks and mitigation measures with project teams.
• Provide cost estimates from preliminary to detailed levels.
• Evaluate cost control effectiveness and review forecasts.
• Support value engineering and negotiations with the General Contractor.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers for project success and client targets.
