Job summary

Colliers International is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Estimator to support a multinational client in global real estate projects. This role focuses on cost management across the project lifecycle, working with PMs to define budgets based on procurement strategy, contract type, and market conditions.

The candidate will identify cost risks, perform estimates from preliminary to detailed levels, and drive cost control and value engineering with project teams to ensure projects meet time and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in cost estimating and management (pre- and post-contract).
• Experience with industrial construction cost benchmarks and related factors.
• Ability to review cost plans for quality and accuracy before approval.
• Knowledge of contract types (Pre-construction partnering, Design-Bid-Build, Design & Build, cost-plus, BTS-Lease).
• International experience on industrial construction projects.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with BIM and cost databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost management processes.
• Guide and support PMs in defining budgets based on project requirements and procurement strategy.
• Identify cost risks and develop mitigation measures with project teams.
• Provide cost estimates from preliminary to detailed stages.
• Evaluate cost control effectiveness and review forecasts to safeguard budget.
• Leverage cost-effective construction methods to deliver on time and budget.
• Support PM in value engineering, price, and claim negotiations with GC.
• Collaborate closely with PM for overall project success and client growth.
