Job summary

Colliers is seeking a Senior Cost Estimator to support our Enterprise Project Management team across global industrial and office projects. You will develop cost management processes, define budgets with PMs, and identify cost risks to keep projects on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in cost estimating, experience with BIM, CostX, and RIB iTwo, and knowledge of diverse contract types.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of cost estimating and management experience.
• Experience with industrial buildings cost benchmarks.
• Ability to review cost plans for quality and accuracy before approval.
• Knowledge of contract types (Design-Bid-Build, Design & Build, BTS-Lease).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain processes for effective cost management procedures.
• Guide PMs in defining realistic budgets based on project requirements, procurement strategy, and contract type.
• Identify significant cost risks and develop mitigation measures with project teams.
• Provide cost estimates from preliminary to detailed project life cycle stages.
• Evaluate cost control effectiveness and review forecasts to safeguard budget accuracy.
• Support cost optimization through value engineering and negotiations with the general contractor.
• Collaborate closely with Project Manager to deliver projects on time and within budget.
