Job summary

Lob is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join its legal team and act as a trusted advisor to Revenue, Product, Engineering, and Partner Operations. You will draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, shape data privacy practices, and help scale Lob’s compliance and governance programs.

Ideal candidates have 5-7+ years of relevant experience, a JD, and active bar membership, with a preference for in-house backgrounds in enterprise SaaS environments.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of relevant legal experience, ideally in-house.
• D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one state bar.
• Experience drafting complex enterprise SaaS agreements.
• Experience advising HR on employment lifecycle matters and managing disputes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements including enterprise SaaS, partnerships, and vendor contracts.
• Advise Product and Engineering on lifecycle from go-to-market to regulatory and contractual frameworks.
• Drive data privacy strategy, translate GDPR/CCPA into actionable practices, and negotiate data processing agreements.
• Oversee corporate compliance programs, policies, and targeted training; conduct vendor audits.
• Develop scalable legal workflows and templates to accelerate execution in cross-functional teams.
