Job summary

Lob is hiring a Corporate Counsel to lead end-to-end drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements, including enterprise SaaS and vendor contracts. You will advise Product and Engineering through regulatory and IP considerations, and help shape our data privacy program across GDPR/CCPA frameworks.

You will oversee compliance, training, and audits while scaling legal workflows and templates.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house.
• JD from an accredited law school; active state bar.
• Experience advising HR and employment lifecycle matters.
• Experience in enterprise SaaS, data privacy, and vendor contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements.
• Advise Product and Engineering teams through product lifecycle and regulatory frameworks.
• Contribute to data privacy strategy including GDPR/CCPA and data processing agreements.
• Oversee compliance programs, policies, training, and vendor audits.
• Develop scalable legal workflows and self-service templates to accelerate execution.
• Partner with General Counsel on special projects and strategic initiatives.
