Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Content Engineer, KnowledgeOps to join a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. You will shape how technical knowledge is structured, automated, and delivered across complex software platforms and internal assistant experiences.

You will partner with documentation leads to improve information architecture, automate content operations, and enable accurate, scalable self-service, focusing on making content usable by people and AI systems while driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years in technical writing for complex software.
• Hands-on with docs-as-code (Git, Markdown/RST) and CI/CD.
• Proficiency in Python or similar for automating content tasks and API integration.
• Experience applying LLMs to content workflows with AI reliability considerations.
• Strong information architecture and content modeling / taxonomy skills.
• Ability to read code and APIs to ensure documentation accuracy.
• Collaborative mindset to translate design intent into functional systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to refine knowledge architecture and content models.
• Build and manage docs-as-code pipelines for authoring, validation, and publishing.
• Structure content for AI readiness, including RAG and internal assistants.
• Automate content lifecycle using LLMs and scripting for efficiency.
• Encode standards into templates and guided workflows over static docs.
• Transform tribal knowledge into playbooks and self-service paths.
• Measure outcomes to inform documentation improvements.
