Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist, Supply Chain Management, to ensure FAR/DFARS compliance for defense contracts and procurement processes.

The role emphasizes robust documentation, risk management, and collaboration with contracts and procurement teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong regulatory background, CPSR system experience, and the ability to drive process improvements in a complex corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 6 years of relevant compliance experience or graduate degree with at least 4 years.
• In lieu of a degree, at least 10 years of relevant compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits of purchase orders and documentation for FAR/DFARS compliance.
• Prepare and manage flow-down documents communicating terms to suppliers.
• Maintain procurement records in ERP systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop corrective action plans and oversee internal audits.
• Review and update procurement policies to reflect regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with Contracts and Buyers to manage contract flow-down clauses.
• Provide training on compliance to procurement staff.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement compliance and efficiency.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on compliance matters.
• Travel ~10%.
