L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Specialist, Government Compliance in Melbourne, FL to oversee government compliance across supply chain operations. The role supports compliance with FAR/DFARS/AMS regulations, internal control reviews, and reporting requirements for a defense-focused purchasing system.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in supply chain with government regulations, and holds a Bachelor’s or higher.

Qualifications

• Experience with FAR/DFARS/AMS government regulations.
• Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 6 years experience or Graduate degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior experience as a Supply Chain professional, technical consultant, or similar role or In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10+ years of prior related experience
• 3+ years Supply Chain experience supporting Government FAR, DFARS, and AMS regulations

Responsabilités

• Complete Purchase Order compliance reviews to support maintaining an approved purchasing system.
• Lead and support quarterly internal functional compliance system reviews and internal control self-assessments.
• Offer guidance in development, implementation and management of supply chain and purchasing procedures that support FAR/DFARS/AMS government regulations.
• Support ability to collect, document, monitor, and analyze supply base for business size and small business classification compliance; track performance to supplier diversity improvement initiatives.
• Maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting records. Prepare internal and federal customer required reports.
• Evaluate RFP requirements for Small Business utilization and participation; support development of subcontracting plans; prepare required subcontracting reports.
• Support development of templates and tools that support compliant purchasing and supply chain actions.
• Monitor and ensure all records and documents are maintained according to regulations and policies.
• Participate in development and implementation of systems that improve efficiency and reduce risk.
• Assist in training of buyers on Government Compliance Systems and regulations.
• Coordinate information related to audits and reviews to maintain approved purchasing system and ratings.
• Remain informed of government regulations and policies (FAR, DFARS, AMS).
• Lead and support process improvements to enhance buyer experience.
