Job summary

SOLV Energy seeks a Senior Commissioning Manager to lead the Sr. CPM team and deliver portfolio-level testing and commissioning across projects. You will own coaching, scheduling, risk visibility, and cross-functional coordination from early engagement through closeout.

Qualified candidates bring 8+ years in EPC commissioning or delivery, and a strong track record in multi-project management, with PMP certification preferred. The role is fully remote nationwide.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive EPC commissioning, project management, or delivery experience on utility-scale projects.
• Experience leading multi-project or portfolio-level workload and cross-functional delivery.
• Ability to translate contractual requirements into clear commissioning deliverables, schedules and governance.
• Strong knowledge of solar, battery energy storage, and high-voltage commissioning interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sr. Commissioning Project Management team with clear direction, coaching, and support.
• Establish team goals, workload priorities, and accountability aligned with objectives.
• Hire, onboard, mentor, and support succession planning and career growth.
• Standardize the Sr. CPM operating model across regions, units, and project types.
• Maintain portfolio visibility of commissioning schedules, milestones, readiness, and risks.
• Ensure Sr. CPMs own the overall commissioning scope, plan, and cross-functional coordination.
• Drive early identification and escalation of issues affecting energization and milestones.
• Oversee engagement with PM, Operations, Preconstruction, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Field Testing teams.
