Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager to lead the Sr. CPM team and deliver portfolio-wide commissioning planning across solar, storage, and HV projects. You will own schedules, milestones, readiness, and cross-functional coordination with Engineering, Operations, and Field teams.

Remote role with interview-based location expectations. The position requires 8+ years in EPC commissioning and strong leadership, governance, and reporting skills to ensure successful project delivery

Qualifications

8+ years in EPC commissioning, project management, or delivery of utility-scale projects.
Experience leading multi-project or portfolio-level delivery.
Strong knowledge of commissioning plans, schedules, milestones, and governance.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; relevant experience considered.
PMP or PM certification preferred.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Lead the Sr. Commissioning Project Management team with coaching, training, and performance feedback.
Establish goals, priorities, and accountability in line with objectives.
Hire, onboard, and mentor staff; support succession planning.
Build a safety-first culture and drive continuous improvement across regions.
Standardize the CPM operating model and ensure portfolio visibility for schedules and milestones.
Oversee staffing needs, resource forecasts, and cross-functional coordination across teams.
Ensure ownership for commissioning scope, readiness reviews, reporting, and closeout.
Identify and escalate issues affecting energization and customer commitments.
