SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager to lead the Sr. CPM & Portfolio Delivery function. This fully remote role oversees testing and commissioning across nationwide projects, partnering with HV and BESS/PV teams to align technical scopes with delivery plans.

The role emphasizes leadership, program-level oversight, and the ability to balance portfolio priorities while maintaining safety and quality across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of EPC commissioning, project management, construction management, or delivery experience on utility-scale projects.
• Proven leadership of multi-project or portfolio-level workload.
• Ability to integrate commissioning activities into schedules, milestones, budgets, and governance.
• Strong knowledge of utility-scale solar, battery storage, and HV commissioning interfaces.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; PMP or other PM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sr. Commissioning Project Management team with direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Establish goals, priorities, and accountability aligned with portfolio objectives.
• Hire, onboard, and mentor staff while supporting career growth and succession planning.
• Ensure safety, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement across projects.
• Standardize the CPM operating model across regions, units, and project types.
• Maintain portfolio visibility of schedules, milestones, readiness, risks, and performance.
• Ensure clear ownership, integrated commissioning plans, and coordination cadences for projects.
• Oversee engagement with PM, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Field teams.
• Integrate HV and BESS/PV scope into the overall plan without compromising authority.
• Drive readiness reviews, dashboards, and timely issue tracking and turnover.
