Job summary

Virtasant is hiring a Senior Deployment Strategist to lead cloud and AI deployment initiatives across Americas-based clients, including up to 20% travel to client sites. You will own multi-phase optimization roadmaps, drive architecture decisions, and ensure measurable business impact.

You will work with CTOs and engineering leaders to turn ambiguous mandates into concrete deployments, balancing technical depth with practical production readiness and governance requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical infrastructure/engineering/architecture delivery with public-cloud experience including AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Enterprise-scale architecture across multi-account/regional environments, high availability and governance.
• Strong problem solving from first principles, deep architectural tradeoffs and defender of decisions with engineers.
• Fluency in infrastructure economics and spend drivers (size, scheduling, data movement, optimization).
• Production Kubernetes experience is valuable; deep ops depth not required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive sponsors to turn ambiguous mandates into concrete, time-boxed deployments with a defensible business case.
• Lead technical discovery and architecture reviews, surface integration complexity and constraints.
• Establish credibility with customer engineering teams and scope engagements to verifiable outcomes.
• Define adoption and impact metrics and own the executive narrative from kickoff to handoff.
• Push for reusable playbooks and influence roadmap through field learnings.
