Job summary

SES Constructors LLC is expanding its workforce and seeks a Lead Estimator for our Civil Construction Business Line. The candidate will prepare estimates from plans, specs, and scopes of work, collaborating with field and office teams to ensure accurate bids.

Remote position; EST or CST; occasional travel may be required. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, employer-paid life and disability, 401(k) matching, and PTO. Salary range: $120,000-$140,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering required.
• 10+ years estimating experience in the heavy civil construction industry.
• Experience estimating federal projects preferred.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, scopes and schedules; leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates based on project size, scope and mix.
• Provide quantity takeoff information for materials and total construction costs.
• Identify and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes for best-value partnerships.
• Collaborate with in-house field and office teams to prepare estimates; meet milestones.
