SES Constructors LLC is expanding its civil construction team and seeks a Lead Estimator. The role focuses on producing self-perform heavy civil estimates, grading the accuracy of quantity takeoffs, and coordinating with subcontractors and vendors for best value bids.

The candidate should have 10+ years in heavy civil estimating, a bachelor’s degree in CM or civil engineering, and the ability to interpret complex contract documents. Remote role with EST/CST alignment and periodic travel.',

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering is required.
• Minimum of 10 years estimating experience in the heavy civil construction industry.
• Experience estimating federal projects is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
• Experience with spreadsheets, word processing, CPM scheduling, and estimating software.

Responsabilités

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates including crew assemblies and production rates.
• Furnish accurate quantity takeoff information for detailed material cost lists.
• Identify, source and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes for best value partnerships.
• Identify and address potential risks with mitigation plans.
• Prepare inquiries to clients regarding drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
