SES Constructors LLC is seeking a Lead Estimator for its Civil Construction line to drive accurate heavy civil cost estimates from plans, specs, and scopes of work. The role requires leadership in preparing detailed estimates and coordinating with in-house teams to ensure bid competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering required.
• 10+ years of estimating experience in the heavy civil construction industry.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Experience with Bid2Win or HCSS Heavy Bid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce self-perform heavy civil cost estimates based on project size, scope and mix.
• Provide quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns for materials and labor.
• Identify and vet subcontractor and supplier quotes for best value.
• Collaborate with project team to meet submission deadlines.
• Support constructability reviews and alternate approaches as needed.
