Flagstar Bank seeks a Sr. Relationship Manager for Home Builder Finance, with a work-from-home model and nationwide scope.

You will originate, structure, price, underwrite, and close builder loans while managing a complex portfolio and coordinating with product specialists and credit teams. The role requires extensive experience in financing production homebuilders, strong relationship-building, and leadership to mentor others.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, finance or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years financing production homebuilders with at least 5 years in sales.
• Formal credit training or experience reading financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Develops new, profitable builder finance relationships and generates deal flow.
• Manage relationships with sponsors and borrowers to expand opportunities.
• Ensure proactive credit monitoring and portfolio quality with timely reporting.
• Collaborate with Credit and outside counsel on credit approvals and onboarding.
• Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory guidelines.
• Mentor less experienced team members when needed.
