GFT seeks a Business Development & Proposal Manager to join our West Team. The role supports remote work and requires California transportation experience. You will lead cradle-to-grave BD activities, guide proposal development, and manage a team across regional or global pursuits.

The position emphasizes capture planning, client management, and strategic messaging, with a focus on delivering high-impact proposals and maintaining CRM excellence across opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, marketing, journalism, or communications.
• Must have the requisite experience in California.
• Proven track record in business development and proposal management.

Responsibilities

• Lead cradle-to-grave internal BD support from client management to proposal development.
• Manage multiple large, long-term pursuits with minimal oversight.
• Coordinate capture planning and CRM documentation across opportunities.
• Develop and communicate key win themes and organize resources for proposals.
• Supervise staff and assign tasks, review work for quality and compliance.
• Support client and teaming relationships and participate in industry activities.
