Job summary

GFT seeks a Proposal Manager to lead complex proposals and interviews across Florida and Georgia, shaping win themes and messaging with capture and BD teams. The role includes mentoring junior staff and driving BD process improvements in a remote-first environment with some office proximity in Orlando, Tampa, Atlanta, or Jacksonville.

You will manage writing of executive summaries and non-technical sections, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with client procurement

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-year degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of practical working experience preferred in BD/Proposal management.
• Experience with FDOT/GDOT and municipal pursuits is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex proposals and interview strategy across Florida and Georgia.
• Drive capture planning, win themes, and messaging with cross‑functional teams.
• Mentor junior staff and support continuous BD process improvement.
• Develop executive summaries and non-technical content aligned to client goals.
• Coordinate with client service teams, marketing, and technical groups.
