Job summary

GFT seeks a Proposal Manager to lead strategic growth across Florida and neighboring markets by directing the development of high-quality, compliant proposals for transportation, construction, and buildings projects. You will align win themes with client priorities, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with capture managers and BD leaders to drive pursuit excellence.

Qualifications

• Normally, a 4-year degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or applicable field is required.
• 8 years of practical working experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Capture planning and develop win themes and messaging for pursuits.
• Manage major and priority-level proposals, ensuring RFP compliance and cross-team coordination.
• Write executive summaries and non-technical sections with aligned client goals and branding.
• Lead interview strategy and development for major-level pursuits and assist with client presentations.
• Support Client Service Team with pipeline analysis and client data coordination.
• Collaborate with MarCom during capture planning and marketing efforts to target clients and sectors.
• May include people management responsibilities and supervision of junior staff.
