Job summary

GFT seeks a Senior Proposal Specialist to join the BD&M team in the Midwest. The role supports transportation, construction services, buildings and places, and other lines, with base options in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, or Austin, TX.

You will lead proposals, craft win strategies, and mentor junior staff. The role emphasizes collaboration with technical teams and marketing, using AI tools for efficiency and ensuring compliant, client-focused submissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of combined proposal experience, preferably in the AEC industry.
• Preferred experience with TxDOT or major metro cities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, development, and delivery of compelling proposals, qualifications, and presentations.
• Coordinate interview teams including scheduling and content prep.
• Collaborate with technical teams and marketing to craft win-focused materials.
• Manage opportunities and deliverables in CRM and coordinate with BD leadership on best practices.
