Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Sr. Analyst in Competitive Intelligence & Price to Win to turn market insights into winning bid strategies. You will analyze competitive landscapes, pricing patterns, and procurement trends to shape capture and proposal decisions for high-impact pursuits.

This is a fully remote role with home-office requirements. Responsibilities include building pricing databases, executing market research, and delivering data-backed recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Ability to collect, validate, organize, and analyze award history, incumbent information, procurement trends, contract structures, market benchmarks, labor categories, pricing patterns, cost drivers, and customer signals
• Must be comfortable building analytical models and explaining assumptions in documentation and presentations
• Advanced Excel and analytical documentation skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute opportunity-focused customer, competitor, and market research to develop foundational PTW assumptions
• Conduct competitive pricing analysis using award history, incumbent performance, procurement trends, contract structures, and market data
• Develop pricing inputs and identify reasonableness ranges with clear assumptions
• Build and maintain bid-specific pricing databases, templates, and workpapers
• Use analytical platforms and models to identify pricing patterns and cost drivers
• Support pre-bid and RFP analyses with data-backed insights for pricing and strategy
• Draft findings and recommendations for bid strategy
• Mentor analysts on research methods and data quality
