Job summary

Sharecare is seeking a seasoned AI Engineer to drive the transformation toward agentic engineering. You will own end-to-end AI architectures, collaborate across teams, and deliver scalable, auditable AI-enabled care solutions in a fully remote US role.

You will ship high-volume AI solutions with minimal supervision, build robust pipelines, and ensure governance, security, and compliance in healthcare data contexts. A strong track record across multiple systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering or systems architecture experience.
• Experience developing solutions using large language models (LLMs) and NLP tools preferred.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization/DevOps practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI/ML solutions to support business needs.
• Build and optimize ML models, analytics, and intelligent automation tools.
• Develop and implement generative AI apps using LLMs, RAG, and conversational AI tech.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business challenges into AI-driven solutions.
• Integrate AI models into enterprise apps, workflows, and processes.
• Develop data pipelines for model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor model performance and manage retraining and lifecycle processes.
• Ensure AI solutions meet security, privacy, compliance, and governance standards.
• Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to scale AI in the cloud.
• Create architecture diagrams and operational procedures for AI systems.
• Support governance, explainability, fairness, and responsible AI practices.
• Troubleshoot AI models and production environments.
• Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and architecture planning.
• Provide technical leadership on AI best practices.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field
