Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and/or assigned group of accounts. You will work under supervision of an Account Manager or Producer to ensure production and quality standards while safeguarding against liability.

You will manage policy expirations, endorsements, renewals, and client submissions, while assisting in reviewing contracts and maintaining data accuracy

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CISR preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, invoices, and coverages documents.
• Support new and renewal business through research, submissions, proposals, and binding.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
• Deliver proactive, high-quality service and follow policies and procedures.
• Seek continuous improvement and demonstrate IOA values.
