Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to support the account team with administrative and client service tasks, under the direction of an Account Manager, Account Executive or Producer.

You will manage policy expirations, endorsements, renewals, submissions, and correspondence; assist with client research, coverages, pricing, proposals, and binder issuance while ensuring accuracy and timely service. Strong communication and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing; CISR preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and/or assigned group of accounts.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business: research clients, gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, bind coverage, and issue proposals.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist with collections.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms for data accuracy.
