Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and client service support to the account team, under supervision of an Account Manager, Account Executive, or Producer. The role emphasizes accurate policy management, renewals, endorsements, and timely correspondence to safeguard client interests.

You will help with submissions, proposals, and binding, while maintaining data integrity in agency systems and delivering proactive service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing; CISR preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of Team Support and Account staff
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, and invoicing
• Support new and renewal business including proposals and binders
• Review contracts for proper coverages
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy
• Communicate workload status to the account team
• Seek continuous improvement and uphold IOA values
