Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team under supervision of AM/AE/Producer. You will help manage policy renewals, endorsements, and client communications to ensure accuracy and timely service.

The role focuses on transactional support, data maintenance in agency systems, and collaboration with the team to deliver high-quality service while staying compliant with company policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing, CISR preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of team support and reception, account assistant, and/or account associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and billing issues.
• Support new and renewal business: gather underwriting info, prepare proposals, bind coverage.
• Review contracts for proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency systems and carrier/vendor platforms for accuracy.
• Ensure timely completion of activity and suspense items.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively respond to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek best practices to improve performance.
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership.
