Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate for Commercial Lines. The role provides administrative and client service support to the account team under the guidance of an Account Manager or Producer.

You will manage renewals, endorsements, proposals, and policy issuances while maintaining data accuracy across agency systems. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in insurance customer service, active licensing, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Required active licensing, CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist and Account Assistants.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business through underwriting information, submissions, and proposals.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
